Jim Hendry has done a great job of getting the players and manager to do the job. Fot the 2nd year in a row, the players are the ones not doing their job. For a hundred years fans have justifiably blamed the Cubs management, but that can't be said now. The players are the ones failing miserably. Management has gotten a manager and players that fans wanted. Now, those high paid players are letting down all Cubs fans. I hear all the players talk about the support from the fans being so important and they need it. Well, they had it, and they couldn't do anything with it. Appears the problem is with the players. Here's an idea.... No one shows up for opening day next year. Let the players know what it feels like to play before alllll the people they've let down. I mean if you're going to lose, at least look like you care......helooooo alphonso and aramis. Don't show for the games......but make sure your protest is directed at the players. The management has done what Cub fans have always wanted, spend money on good players. It's the players who are letting everyone down.
