Wade Miller, who was signed by the Cubs in the offseason, and yet to throw a pitch for the Cubbies, will get started on the road to recovery on Thursday, when he’ll make a rehab appearance with the Class A Peoria Chiefs at O’Brien Field against Quad Cities. It will be Miller’s first game action since 2005, when he was pitching for the Red Sox.Miller is scheduled to throw two innings for the Chiefs.
