Cubs general manager Jim Hendry has finally traded away Milton Bradley. However he got a terrible pitcher in return as Carlos Silva has only won five games in two years! The $9 million cash that comes with Silva is the highlight of the trade!

The Chicago Cubs look to close out the 2009 season on a high note as they have six remaining games on the schedule. I would expect to see a lot of young players playing the final six games while Derrek Lee and Aramis Ramirez shut it down for the season due to nagging injuries.

Cubs starting pitcher Randy Wells pitched into the seventh inning as the Cubs beat the Astros 4-1 and evened up their series at one game each.
