I was able to attend the first two games of the Cubs / Rockies series in Denver over the weekend.  The team played like crap the first two games, getting down early in both games but I suppose you have to expect that with young pitchers a lot of times. 

My family and I stayed that Westin where the Cubs were staying and the players looked down and like they just wanted the season to be over with already.  Going to be a long 6-7 weeks with that kind of attitude.  Baker did seem upbeat when talking with fans as he usually is.  Ron Santo is great with fans as always, you can sit down with him before the bus comes and pretty much talk about anything.  Santo is class act, too bad the current generation of players aren’t the same. 

I’ll probably be heading back next year just because the Cubs suck me in like that, I shouldn’t put more money into this team the way they are playing but what can I say, I’m a Cubs Fan!
