Miguel Angel Luna Negron... Was selected by the Toronto Blue Jays in first round (18th overall) of the 2000 June draft... Signed his first professional contract on June 12, 2000... Attended Manuela Toro High School in Puerto Rico.

2005 Highlights:
Spent the entire season with New Hampshire of the Eastern League (AA)... Batted .258 with 21 doubles, 12 home runs and 46 RBI in 124 games... TEAM LEADER: Led the team and set new career highs with 124 games played, 489 at bats, 69 runs scored and 23 stolen bases... Tied for the team lead with three triples... Finished 2nd on the team in RBI and hits (126)... Played 112 games in CF, 9 in LF and 3 in RF... Had 34 multi-hit games... In 61 homes games, batted .238 with six home runs and 21 RBI, while in 63 road games batted .275 with six home runs and 25 RBI... Suffered his worst month in April, batting just .158 with two RBI in 16 games... Batted .250 in 25 May games... From May 2-9 had a seven-game hit streak, batting .434 over that span (10-23)... May 19 at Trenton had a season high three stolen bases... HOT IN JUNE: Had his best month in June, batting .326 with four home runs and 10 RBI... From August 13-24 had a 12-game hit streak, batting .372 (19-51) over that span... Had at least one hit in 25 of his 30 games in August... August 23 vs. Norwich had his 2nd multi-home run games of the season, going 3-3 with a double, two home runs, three runs scored and four RBI.
