Mets hammer Marshall, Novoa, and Baker
If you watched last nights game on national television you seen the Cubs up and down team play. They came out of the gates swinging good and throwing strikes, but once that 6th inning hit, all hell broke lose.Â
The Mets pushed across 11 runs in the 6th inning on the help of two errors by second basemen Todd Walker. Walker is a gamer, and totally took all the blame himself. It’s too bad Dusty can’t do that once in a while… What in the hell was Dusty doing leaving Novoa out there that long to serve up Beltrans grand slam? I know Novoa is one of “Dusty’s Guys” as you can tell he plays almost every game no matter the situation, but come on and play the game a little smarter.
It’s too bad that Todd will more then likely get traded in the next two weeks before the July 31st deadline. Tood is a gamer, and Cubs Fans enjoy watching him play the game the way he does. He is also a great guy to talk too off the field and you can tell how bad he just wants to win for the Cubs.
