Glendon - who signed with the Cubs as a minor league free agent at the end of spring training in 2004 - worked both as a starter and a reliever for the club last season...during his major league career, the southpaw has two double-digit victory campaigns...has worked at least 7.0 innings in 65 of his 183 starts - going 32-18 with 10 complete games and a 2.24 ERA in those contests...has seen action in every round in the postseason, going 1-0 with a 1.08 ERA...made his major league debut for Kansas City in 1997 - in just his fifth season of professional baseball...graduated from Shorecrest High School in Seattle, Washington, in 1993...played baseball and basketball in high school - and hurled a no-hitter his senior year.
