Freddie Bynum will remain in a Minnesota hospital until Tuesday after incurring right shoulder inflammation, apparently from making a diving catch during Saturday’s game. Bynum was placed on the 15-day disabled list. Bynum may not have had a blood clot, but the signs were there, prompting the Cubs to take precautions. Studies were inconclusive, and Bynum was put on blood-thinning medication.
