Daryle Lamar Ward...Four children; daughter Jordan (10/16/93) and sons Jaylen (9/11/97), Josiah (7/23/01) and Jaxon (9/18/03)...Is a 1993 graduate of Bethel Christian High School in Riverside, CA...Attended Rancho Santiago College in Santa Ana, CA...Is the son of former big leaguer Gary Ward, who played for Minnesota, Texas, New York (AL) and Detroit.

2006 Highlights:
Acquired from the Nationals on Aug. 31. Had a two-run single in his first at-bat as a Brave on Sept. 2. His 22 pinch-hits and four pinch-hit homers led the Majors. Hit a three-run homer against the Nationals on Sept. 18. While with the Nationals, he hit .308 with six homers and 19 RBIs.

2005 Highlights:
