We, Cub fans, always hear about these so-called young phenoms that never pan out. Then it is too late either no one wants to trade us or we give far too much for a mediocre Free Agent. Wake Up Cubs!! He turned down offers from San Diego and the White Sox because they wanted him in LF and CF respectively. I think he would do it if Pie got hurt/bombed/or if it was an emergency. Hopefully, we'll avoid controversies. The only benefit is that it will let Murton play more. I’m against this because Fukudome signed with the Cubs TO PLAY RF.
