Cubs going for the sweep against the Marlins

Submitted by Cliff on Thursday, 27 April 2006 No Comment

Wow what two great games we have seen so far against the Marlins at Wrigley Field! Close games and the Cubs winning which makes it even better for us Cubs fans! Get your brooms out because the Cubbies are going for the sweep against the Florida Marlins this afternoon.

Angel Guzman is making his Major League Debut today against Scott Olsen (1-1 1.50 ERA) Guzman is taking Jerome Williams spot in the rotation after Williams was sent down too Triple A earlier this week. We all figured we would see Guzman in Wrigley Field a few years ago but, he was slowed down by arm injuries the past few years. Angel had a pretty good spring training with the Cubs but struggled in early on in his starts at Triple A so lets hope he turns it around and the Cubs get the sweep today!

If you missed out on your tickets for this series, you can still get your Cubs Tickets for the upcoming series against the Brewers, and Pirates at StubHub! Your #1 source of great tickets for Cubs games!
