When is Pinella going to realize he's not a # 3 hitter. Pinella blew that game today as much as Gregg by having his 2 300 hitters Threau and Fountiot to far down the lineup. Tampa stated winning after he left and someone else came in and started playing the young guys. Larussa is a jerk but would run off with the pennant if he had the Cubs talent. He still cannot hit a fastball unless it is above his waist it seems. I don't think he has a quick enough bat to get around on the inside pitches as well. That makes them sound like equals. Derrek has two hits in three games, luckily both rbi opportunities, while Theriot is hitting over .500. I think Derrek has some work to do if he wants to keep Hoffpauir on the bench.
