Cubs bullpen loses another one
Damnit, how many time is this bullpen going to cost the Cubs a ballgame? It happened once again today as Ryan Dempster was charged with 5 runs in the bottom of the 9th inning. Well we can say Scott Eyre did give up the last two hits of the game lol, but the runs were still charged to Dempster.Â
If not for the blowup in the bullpen, Angel Guzman would have picked up his first major league win but it just wasn’t meant to be I suppse.
So no what happens with the bullpen? I can expect a move to be maded in soon. You can’t keep sending the same players out there and seeing the same result, and that is a blown save, and another lose for the Cubs.
Atleast the Cubs offense hit the ball around today, Aramis Ramirez and Angel Pagan both had homeruns. But of course it wasn’t enough because the damn bullpen sucks so bad right now…
I don’t know what else to say, I’m pretty pissed off after watching the game today. We could have went 2-2 against the Mets and I would have been happy with that. Now we have a big series with the White Sox which doesn’t look good right now.

We can’t go on like this. Something has to be done with this bull pen. They are the opposig teams best run producer. Ryan has moments only moments of brilliance. The complete pen should be swapped with Iowas pen. They can’t do any worse. Guzman pitches a jewel and dosen’t get his 1St victory. There must be somebody somewhere to shore up this useless pen. I’m sure I don’t have to reveal what our record would be, if only half of the blown saves weren’t blown. Lou is aging many times faster than ever.
CUBS season is over, Milwaukee is runnin away with it just like St Louis did in a so many times before. The BULLPEN sucks!!!!!!!!

I wonder how the bullpen would perform if mistakes affected their paychecks!…These guys have NO HEART and are SCARED…I see NO ATTITUDE from these guys – Just a bunch of pretty boys picking up their paychecks…Ok, I’m done.
No guts no glory…..what it’s going to take is a good a## whoopin’……nevermind, I don’t even think that’ll work. Time to find a new bullpen….these guys don’t have it.
Well Dempster sure looked alot better today. I agree with you guys though, the bullpen is really going to have to pick things up if this team wants to be a cntender.
I see the Brewers fading, Hardy and Fielder can’t continue their hot streaks all season long. They have lost 4 of 6 and have a tough interleague series with the Twins starting tonight. It is time for the Cubs to pick up a few games in the standings!
