The Cubs have signed their 2nd player that was eligable for arbitration. Jerry Hairston signed a one year contract for $2.3 million. Look for Hairston to serve as a utility player in the outfield and playing some 2nd base with Todd Walker. Hopefully Jerry can stay healthy through the entire year this year and score a lot more runs for the Cubs. We sure could use his speed on the basepaths.
