I’d like to say congratulations to Cubs third basemen Aramis Ramirez as he was selected as the 2008 National League Hank Aaron award winner. The Hank Aaron award is selected by the fans and is awarded to the most deserving offensive player in the fans minds. Ramirez hit .289 with 97 runs scored, a career-high 44 doubles, 27 home runs, a club-high 111 RBIs, a career-best .380 on-base percentage and a .518 slugging percentage. It was also the sixth straight season that A-Ram finished with over 100 RBIs. Congrats to Mr. Ramirez once again! Leave a ReplyYou must be logged in to post a comment. Filed under: Chicago Cubs News
