The Cubs have yet another bad series

Randy Wells got tagged for five runs in the first three innings of the game as the Nationals beat the Cubs 5-4 and took two out of three games. It was just a bad series overall for the Cubs and the fans probably wish that the season were over now. I sure think that sometimes as I sit here and watch them play ball.

Cubs get embarrassed by the Nationals 15-6

Carlos Zambrano was charged with eight runs in just 4 1/3 innings as he made his return to the mound for the Cubs. The Nationals embarrassed the Cubs 15-6. Sure not the way you want to start off a ten game home stand when you are already down eight games in the division and seven out in the wild card.

The Chicago Cubs dropped three out of four games in Los Angeles to the Dodgers and are now eight games out of the division as the Cardinals keep on winning. The Tribune Co. and the Ricketts Family finally finalized the details for the sale of the Cubs with the Rickets family owning 95%. What does the future hold for the Cubs now?
