Cubs offense sucks it up one again

The Cubs took a couple of steps back as they dropped the final two games of a three game series to the Braves. The offense sucked it up both games as they scored just one run in both outings. The bats need to have a big series against the Cardinals or they will find themselves behind by at least five games in the standings.

Monday was a great day for Cubs Fans

Great day for Cubs fans! First we hear about the sale of the team has been sent to Major League Baseball for approval. Second of all the Cubs beat the Braves 4-2. And finally the team made some roster moves that most Cubs fans agreed with. You gotta love the groin injury for David Patton lol!

Cubs finish off Brewers with 8-2 victory

The Chicago Cubs finished off the Milwaukee Brewers with a 8-2 victory on Sunday. Ted Lilly pitched great after learning he was selected as the lone player on the roster to be chosen for the All Star Game. Derrek Lee and Jake Fox both hit two run home runs to lead the offense. Great series for the Cubs!

Cubs beat Brewers on bases loaded walk

The Cubs beat the Brewers for the second time in their four game series as Ryan Theriot scored the game winning run in the bottom of the tenth inning on a bases loaded walk as the Cubs won 2-1. The Cubs are inching their way towards first place despite us fans gripping about the team every three or four days. Your thoughts?
