The Cubs took a couple of steps back as they dropped the final two games of a three game series to the Braves. The offense sucked it up both games as they scored just one run in both outings. The bats need to have a big series against the Cardinals or they will find themselves behind by at least five games in the standings.

Ted Lilly pitched great after learning he was selected as the lone player on the roster to be chosen for the All Star Game. Derrek Lee and Jake Fox both hit two run home runs to lead the offense.
