Thanks Kerry Wood!

It was another wild day at Wrigley Field where the Cubs won the game in their final at bat as Andres Blanco scored on a wild pitcher by former Cubs Kerry Wood. This was the fourth time this home stand that the Cubs won in their final at bat. Things are turning around on the Northside Cubs fans!

Late inning rally wins it for the Cubs!

Alfonso Soriano came up big with a game winning hit that scored Reed Johnson as the Cubs came from behind to beat the White Sox by the score of 6-5. The Cubs scored four runs in the eighth inning to tie the game at 5-5 thanks to back-to-back home runs from Derrek Lee and Geovany Soto. Finally the bats came around!

Would the offense please do something?

The Cubs offense needs to turn things around quick before they find themselves down six or seven games in the division. They continued to suck it up on Wednesday as they lost 4-1 against their cross town rival in the White Sox. It was just another embarassing performance by the guys at the plate.

Sammy Sosa reportedly tested positive

A published report from the New York Times is saying that former Chicago Cubs outfielder Sammy Sosa was included in the 2003 list of players that were caught using performance enhancing drugs. Lawyers who were familiar with the list released the information. This comes as no surprise to me…
